Restaurant Le Baryon — Restaurant in Albertville

We arrived at restaurant at 7.30 for diner with 6 people. While the food was okay, the service was extremely terrible.

Not only did we wait for more than hour, the waiter forgot multiple things like salt&pepper, bread, drinks etc. Waiters are clearly understaffed.

After complaining multiple times the owner stopped at our table promising to take care of service. However, he didn’t check up single time for rest of evening. After we finished all of the meat of hot stone grill he came with bowl of sea salt and laughed when we said all meat was finished.

Despisable owner. Would not recommend to any tourist/local looking...

The food and service was not very good.

Tartiflette was basically raw and filled to the top with liquid cream. I’m shocked they served this full of liquid cream and with hard potatoes. We sent it back and didn’t ask for a new one.

Same meal - the beef bourguignon had clearly been burned in the pan and then mixed. Tasted disgusting full of burned flavour. It’s not possible the chef didn’t know this. Sent this back too and just skipped lunch at this place.

I would avoid overall. Better choices...

Great place to sit outside and eat and drink. The playlist on the Tuesday was best with T-Rex and Survior. The tartiflette was gluten free. The wine was nice too. I heard really good things about the burger from my friend (he had the burger 3 times in a week!). The staff were kind and patient.
