The restaurant is large, so can cope with large groups, but doesn't feel vast or soulless as there are several dining areas on two floors, small parties, ones and twos are made to feel very welcome. But the vegetables (chips, potatoes courgettes etc) were cold. They brought hot chips but at no point asked us how the meal was. I ordered ice cream and espresso together, the waiter confirmed that I wanted them served together. In the end I waited 10 minutes for the coffee after the ice cream came. As a result had our Christmas lunch here and were not disappointed, tasty, plenty of it, and good service with a smile and sense of humour.
