As a piste basher, I work long, brutal hours through the night to keep the slopes in top shape. By the time I finish, cooking isn’t exactly an option, and with limited food choices available, I’ve had to rely on SOS Pizza far more than I’d like. Unfortunately, it’s been a disaster every single time.

For starters, their menu is a complete joke. It looks massive, offering all sorts of options, but when you actually go to order, they tell you it’s only pizza. That wouldn’t be the end of the world if the pizza was even remotely decent—but it’s not. The toppings are a gamble, and more than once, I’ve been served pizza with raw meat. After a long shift out in the cold, the last thing I want is to deal with food that’s barely edible and potentially unsafe.

I don’t have the luxury of cooking after a night shift, and with so few other options, I’ve had to go back a few times, hoping for some improvement. No luck. The quality is consistently terrible, and the lack of care is obvious. If you’re in the same boat—working late nights on the mountain and needing a quick meal—do yourself a favor and find literally anything else. SOS Pizza is a last resort, and even then, it’s...

Oh my goodness, where do I even begin with the heavenly delight that is SOS pizza? From the moment I laid eyes on that perfectly crisp, golden crust, I knew I was in for a treat. And boy, was I right. Every single bite was an explosion of flavour in my mouth - the tangy tomato sauce, the gooey, stretchy mozzarella, and the choice cuts of savoury meats all combining to create the most heavenly symphony of taste I have ever experienced.

But it wasn't just the flavour that had me hooked - the texture of the pizza was like nothing I've ever encountered before. The crust was crunchy and firm, yet still soft and chewy in all the right places. And the toppings? Oh, the toppings. They were so fresh and so perfectly balanced, it was almost as if each and every one had been hand-selected by the gods themselves.

I could go on and on about the wonders of SOS pizza, but I think you get the point. Simply put, it was the tastiest pizza I have ever had the pleasure of devouring. If you're ever in Tignes and find yourself in need of a slice (or three) of the most mouthwatering pizza you'll ever encounter, look no further than SOS pizza. Trust me, your taste buds...

The pizza was really nice, however the server lady with the facial tattoos was incredibly rude! 8 of us arrived to order pizza. She initially just closed the window on us. We tried a few other restaurants before returning as we really wanted pizza. When we returned, one of our group tried to order. She said we all had to order at once. Once she wrote down all of our orders (which she did with a really bad attitude), she said we all had to pay together. We are 8 individuals, who wanted to order individually. The pizza tasted good, but she was a really horrid...

Great to have around if everything else is shut or you don’t fancy a sit down meal or cooking. It’s nothing fancy, but that’s not to say it’s poor quality. Just don’t expect pizzeria quality with pizzas cooked in a wood fired oven and you’ll enjoy it. Expect a waiting time of 20-30 minutes. Service was great. Not a noticeable difference from the one in Val Claret in terms of flavour and quality.

Absolutely disgusting. My friends and I ordered to takeaway from here on our first night, and when we got back to our place, I was met with a RAW burger! It looked liked it had been seared for 10 seconds on each side, and was just raw mince meat throughout. The pizzas were inconsistently cooked too and had so much cheese on you could’ve used it as the base.
