A really special place in the city centre, hidden down a little alley. It was recommended to us by a local. Great friendly atmosphere, family friendly, open air, located in an inner courtyard. The menu was varied with many local specialities. The food was exceptionally good. We had a cassoulet which is one of the best I have ever eaten, perhaps the best..and I'm french! The entrecote was also amazing, top quality meat cooked to perfection. The coffee was good quality too. The staff was friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended, a great experience. Very...

a nice restaurant hidden in the alley. there were enough tables both outside and inside. The owner was friendly, we ordered la purĂ©e du pauvre with a bottle of wine from Gaillac that was recommended. the dish was quite heavy with all the mashed potato, egg and especially the fresh fois gras, but so tasty with the scent of truffle so finished it to the last bit! funny name though, aren’t truffle and foie gras considered to be expensive...

"Lou Secret" est bien gardé !

CachĂ© au fond d'une alcĂŽve et seulement indiquĂ© par un panneau plutĂŽt "quelconque" (si si), Lou Sicret mĂ©rite d'ĂȘtre connu et reconnu.

Les plats y sont excellent, et tout le talent de ceux ci réside dans la maßtrise avec laquelle ils sont réalisés. Un magret-frites, vous en trouverez dans toute l'Occitanie, mais pas CE magret frite, cuit à la perfection et ces frites maison croustillantes et fondantes qui ne nécessitent rien d'autre qu'une fourchette pour se régaler.

MĂȘme sans ĂȘtre fin connaisseur, on se rĂ©gale avec legumes maisons, viandes parfaitement cuites, plats mijotĂ©s (essayez la "fetouchalette" ou je ne sais plus quel nom elle a ... 😄), les desserts dĂ©licieux (celui au caramel !!! 😋).

Le prix est Ă  la hauteur de la qualitĂ© : on ne cherche pas Lou Sicret pour faire des Ă©conomies, mais on reste quand mĂȘme dans une note trĂšs correcte.

Pensez Ă  rĂ©server : le succĂšs a tendance Ă  rendre le secret difficile Ă  garder ... 😄 Pour soi !

Si l’accueil, vraiment agrĂ©able, simple, naturel qui nous a Ă©tĂ© fait dĂšs notre arrivĂ©e nous a de suite mis Ă  l’aise, ce sont les plats, gĂ©nĂ©reux, goĂ»teux, sans fioritures ni chichis, simplement dĂ©licieux 😋 qui ont ravi nos papilles : aprĂšs une salade gĂ©nĂ©reuse avec du foie gras, des gĂ©siers confits, du magret sĂ©chĂ©, nous nous sommes rĂ©galĂ©s avec un magret entier cuit Ă  la perfection, une « purĂ©e du pauvre » incroyable de saveurs. Les conseils pour le vin Ă©taient judicieux, et aprĂšs de trĂšs bons desserts, nous sommes repartis, satisfaits de cette premiĂšre expĂ©rience ! Pourquoi premiĂšre ? Parce que nous y sommes revenus ce midi, et avons profitĂ© pleinement de notre dĂ©jeuner, toujours aussi bien accueillis, dĂ©gustĂ© de nouveaux plats, une autre bouteille de vin aussi agrĂ©able que la premiĂšre !! Un sans faute, un accueil chaleureux, une cuisine pleine de goĂ»t, pour une addition raisonnable : nous reviendrons, assurĂ©ment !! Merci 🙏 merci đŸ€© merci â˜ș !!
