Berbie Palace — Attraction in Albi

Beautifully walled buildings and gardens with great view over the river to the old town and bridges. Free of charge to enter, although the museums inside do charge a small few. Wasn't busy when we went on a Saturday at 2pm. Great restaurants surround the palace although you will pay a premium, 19euro for a burger although many do a plate of the day which is better value. If you take the walk behind the palace down to the river, there appears to be a boat tour but we were tight on time so did not go...
