I popped in by chance on my second day in Cordes Sur Ciel while out exploring and on the hunt for a light late lunch of some kind. Most places seem to close for a few hours in the afternoons so given it was 4.20pm I was hungry and loosing hope after trying a few other places. I ordered a slice of vegetarian quiche and they asked if I’d like a salad with it. The staff were so kind and joyous, seeming happy to be practicing some English, which is a pleasant change from many other establishments which seem to have a bit of distance towards tourists. Anyway they were so kind and funny, happy to help and served up a stunningly delicious quiche! They have a lovely little terrace around the corner that I sat at and watched the scenery. After reading other reviews I decided to pop back and buy some of the biscuits and confirm they are amazing! I’ll be buying more to take home with me.
