Café Cardinal — Restaurant in Angers

Great coffee, excellent place to work with nice tables/chairs and good wifi. Couldn't ask for more as I'm traveling and working on the road.

J’y suis allé plusieurs fois et c’était très bien, dernièrement je suis retournée à ce café et j’ai été très décue. Je pense déja qu’il y a eu un changement de propriétaire. Bref on se retrouve avec 3 amies pour travailler, je commande un jus, une autre de mes amies un café + une patisserie et la dernière préfère commander plus tard. On s’installe, au bout d’une heure mon amie décide à son tour de commander et la femme (qui je pense est la nouvelle gérante) vient nous débarrasser en nous disant très clairement que si nous ne consommons pas plus ben il faudrait partir car d’autres personnes attendent. Heu...!?!? Car en gros faudrait consommer 4 ou 5 cafés à minimum 4€ si on veut rester une aprem?? N’importe quoi, ca nous à choquées, surtout qu’il y avait encore plusieurs places de libres autour de nous. Et puis même, à quel moment on dit au client de partir au bout d’une heure car on a finit de consommer!? Moi qui est énormément travailler dans la restauration et le service ceci est une totale aberration, je n’y remettrais...

Came in for a coffee to go, was impressed with how spacious it was and the cozy atmosphere. The terrace outside, even if quite small has a nice view of the church and it s also sunny. The barista was very nice and the coffee was great. Totally recommend as there are not that many specialty coffee...
