Croccante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Angers

What a pleasure it was! Starting with a really nice location, just a few minutes walk from the riverbank, with amazing hosts, that genuinely care about their guests, and to the amazing food. We started with a drink - I had the Ange’vin Spritz with which they came up on their own - prepared using a local liquor - veeery good and refreshing. Together with friends we ordered frittata to share and everyone got a piece of it with a small salad on side. Then we took several pizzas, again to share and every composition was cut into 3 pieces so we could taste them all. We finished with the best panna cotta that I have ever eaten - creamy and delicate - even better than in Italy (!) and true Sicilian limoncello. I ate here a really great dinner with my sister. The place is meant to enjoy food with your friends and family: you can share the various versions of pizza with others and together explore the vine selection. Next time I will take some pieces and make a small picnic eating them by a sunset on the riverbank, as it is very close. After the dinner (on Friday) we bought some pizzas to go to have them for lunch and we ended up eating them on Wednesday - testing completely fresh and absolutely delicious 🤯 amazing...
