A bad experience. It started with trying to book a table. We telephoned at lunchtime and then at dinner time on Saturday 5th of April, during the open hours of the restaurant. There was always an answerphone message to say to telephone when they were open, but they should have been, so it was confusing. We telephoned Sunday 6th at 11:30 and someone answered. Our table was booked for 13:30 for brunch. We arrived and were completely ignored by a female waitress, so we had to tell her we had a reservation, she just pointed and said to go and see someone inside. We were then told the table was not ready, so had to wait outside. We then had to ask if the table was ready after 10-15 minutes of waiting. We got sat down and waited and waited. A waiter asked if we had been before and then told us how the brunch menu worked. He said the food may take a while, so we had to ask if we could at least have our drinks. We waited some more. The cold drinks arrived, then more waiting. The hot drinks arrived, we had to ask for sugar. A waiter eventually took our food order at 14:15. There was already one option from the five savoury options out of stock and one option from the three desserts out of stock. We waited some more. The food eventually arrived at 14:45. We had to ask for table water. The food was very good. The waiter with lots of tattoos was very friendly and he apologised. A real shame, but it seems like they cannot cope with busy times, although there were...
Read moreI was so disappointed. This is why locals don’t come here. The duck my husband Ordered was so over cooked like rubber despite him specifying clearly it should be rose. The duck burger i got was… like the size of McDonald, lol literally with nothing inside except a bit of cheese and shredded duck cooked so tasteless. I wanted to like the place so much. Other than the courtyard(La cour) and wine nothing was worth the visit. We won’t be coming back. Service was … really .. idk how to explain. It was like Paris, not in a good sense. There are such great other cute restaurants with local families running them,...
