Great little find - just happened to glance through a doorway and saw this lovely little courtyard filled with lights and greenery. Managed to grab a table and was greeted with some really great food - served by friendly staff who made every attempt to deal with my massacre of the French language!!! Nice menu with some different offerings to the standard beef, beef & more beef for this region! Desserts were fantastic! Highly recommended.

So it's 38C and you're looking for a place to eat in Angoulême? No problem. La Cour is the place to go. On an elegant side street, the courtyard setting really set it out. Very friendly staff, decent food, reasonable pricing. Only tip is to avoid the indoor seating in these kinds of circumstances as there is no air conditioning. Recommended

We had a lovely meal, the service was friendly, nice atmosphere and the food was great too. I haven’t however given 5 stars because the mains were not equal or proportional at all. I had a whole duck breast which was so big I could not finish however the prawn dish was very small and not worth the money. Overall I would return again though!

Extrêmement décevant.Le cadre est très agréable en particulier dans le patio à l’extérieur , j’ai testé le menu du midi à 20 euros (la carte étant proposé que le soir), nous avons attendu 15 minutes pour des œufs mimosa en entrée et 30 minutes pour un club sandwich sans aucun intérêt, le pain était mou ,pâteux et pas toaster, simplement du saumon et un peu radis. Le service est extrêmement lent qui est du à une lenteur de la cuisine pour faire 1 entrée (l’autre n’était plus disponible et pas rayé de la carte), 3 plats et 2 desserts. La cuisine était complètement sous l’eau, le « chef » en chute libre sans parachute s’engouffrant dans la médiocrité culinaire, n’espérez pas manger en une heure pour le menu cela est impossible et la cuisine sans intérêt. Préparez votre carte gold pour les vins... très cher pour les vignobles proposés. A éviter sans modération, de bien meilleures adresses juste à côté.

We had an awesome evening here with a great atmosphere and delicious food. The vegetarian burger was very good. It really tastes like meat. I was wondering if it is not meat by mistake but we asked the service and they said it is really vegetarian. 😄

Nice place with very friendly staff. Very tasty food with good choice in starters and mains, but lacking in deserts. We could not pick anything from desert menu despite are not fussy eaters. Rich starter, rich main and only rich deserts available.
