Le Pop restaurant — Restaurant in Annecy

We visited this bar because it’s located right on the beach and looks very appealing from the outside. However, overall, I personally cannot recommend it.

The place appears quite upscale – entry only through a single entrance, security greeting you at the door, and so on…

But in the end, the service was honestly poor or even non-existent. Despite the fact that there were only a few tables occupied, we had to get our beer at the bar ourselves. After some time, a waitress came by – but instead of asking if we wanted to order something else, she just wanted to settle the bill.

That’s really unfortunate, because the atmosphere and the beautiful view of the mountains have a lot...

Beautiful location, however, awful food. I ordered ribs, they arrived more fat than meat, very chewy, probably had 2 little mouthfuls of the ribs, only ate my chips. Asked for the ribs to be taken off the bill, the manager said no and said ‘ they probably sell 10 a day and haven’t had any other complaints’ .. so we paid €30 for chewy fatty ribs I didn’t even eat. 30 mai 2025: je transmets le choix de mes invités.

6juin 2025, n’ayant toujours pas reçu de confirmation ou de retour, je décide d’appeler. On reviendras vers moi. Le soir même, on m’annonce gentillement par mail d’aller me faire f* et que le restaurant n’accepte plus les groupes de plus de 15 personnes. Sympa de m’avoir fait choisir tout les plats à mes invités alors que les 18 personnes avaient été annoncés des le 23 mai.

Sympa d’avoir fait les morts et d’avoir attendu mon appel. Sympa de ne pas avoir eu le courage de me prévenir par téléphone et/ou de trouver un compromis. Je pensais qu’avec un menu a 41€ plus les boissons et les cafés qui allaient être commandés la table aurait plutôt été profitable. Il faut croire que non.

C’est triste le manque de courage et de transparence en 2025.

Bref j’ai bien compris le message, je n’ai plus qu’à trouver un autre établissement plus respectueux en mois d’un...
