L'Émeraude — Restaurant in Antony

Had a meal here last Thursday night. 5 males seated outside. Took an hour for to be served a dozen mediocre Oysters on a sharing platter.

My Prawns pil pils starter came an hour later and was served with alongside my main course of fish and chips.

First thing to note is the Prawns where miniscule and you couldn't find them in the rancid tomato paste they were served in (the tomato paste hadn't been cooked thoroughly) The other thing was this was a starter I'd waited over an hour for and it came with my main course of Fish and chips.

If the prawns weren't already a disappointment the fish and chips was even worse.

The fish was not fresh. It was a frozen fish served with a mini basket of limp fries.

No garnish, no effort just plain piece of frozen fish and limp fries in a basket.

I waited for my colleagues to be served but after 5 minutes realised I was the only one having a starter but I'd received my main course at the same time.

To make matters worse there was no cutlery on the tables. Well not ours at least.

I waited on the waiter with both my starter and main course going cold to bring some cutlery but he was AWOL so I had to walk into the restaurant and had to wait another 5 minutes to complain.

This was the worst service and meal I have ever experienced in Paris.

Later when paying the bill a member of staff said something about chef ringing in sick.

That's no excuse for the poor service and from what I'd seen there were plenty of staff in the kitchens.

Avoid this place as there are plenty of other restaurants...

Nous avons réserver pour le mercredi 1re mai, en arrivant à l’heure la table n’étais pas prête, suite à ça nous nous installons puis nous nous apercevons très vite que les gens sur les autres tables attendaient leur plats depuis un moment. Nous demandons des boissons (3) qui arrive difficilement. Par la suite nous commandons au bout d’un long moment les plats, nous avons dû attendre 30-45min pour avoir les 3 plats (deux fish and chips et une salade caesar) nous n’avons pas été servis en même temps comme toutes les autres tables, les serveuses étaient débordés les plats n’étaient pas les bons commandés et donc les gens mangeaient tous en décalé. Le service n’étais pas correct malheureusement. Les clients se servaient eux même les cuillères oubliés pour les desserts, pareil pour les verres les clients se levais pour aller les chercher. Une dame a même demander aux serveuses si ils voulaient de l’aide car ils attendaient leur plats depuis plus d’une 1h. Nous avons dû demander 3 fois une carafe d’eau. L’organisation étais pas du tout adapter. De plus les plats n’étais pas si incroyable pour avoir attendu autans de temps. Le pauvre cuisinier étais tout seul pour les 6 tables dans le restaurant et où les gens attendaient depuis 2h.

Malheureusement cela n’a pas été une bonne expérience, le service n’étais pas bon du tout suite au...

Visiting again. Quiet day and only one sever but managed to help us quite efficiently. Stares with Caesar salad with chicken. Too much dressing. Mains I had tuna seared in sesame seeds which was tasty. Vegetables overcooked. We had to send back the sole as it needed an extra couple minute to cook. End result was ok.
