A Delightful Culinary Experience in Cucuron Visiting from NYC, we have been to Provence six times but had never ventured to the charming little town of Cucuron. What a lovely discovery! In our search for a lunch spot, we followed David @provencallife recommendation of Matcha, and it did not disappoint. The menu is fairly limited, but every dish we tried was delicious. The three-course meal for 30 EUR is hard to beat in terms of both quality and value. We opted to sit on the terrace, which added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. My wife and I had a very enjoyable time at Matcha, and it has now been added to our list of go-to places in Provence. Worth the visit!

Stumbled across this place while mooching around the Luberon. It’s is excellent. Lovely service. Handily located for the market (Tuesdays)in beautiful Cucuron, but above all exceptional cooking. The set menu was delicious and beautifully presented to the last detail. Impossible to fault.

La TableLa Table

Nous avons ADORÉ du début à la fin. A la fois fin, copieux et créatif, ce restaurant satisfera n'importe qui. Les ingrédients (de saison) sont soigneusement choisis afin de créer des associations pour le bonheur de nos palais. Les plats sont bien garnis (attention aux apéritifs qui sont dignes d'entrées). Le rapport qualité/prix est totalement valable (40€ tête avec vin et on s'est pas retenu sur les plats). Le serveur parfait: sympathique, rapide, qui a pris le temps de répondre à nos différentes questions sur la préparation des plats, les ingrédients etc... Vous aurez compris, je recommande sans retenue, nous avons goûté toute la carte et tout était parfait. Le seul bémol qui ne concerne que notre table, nous avions la table blanche qui n'est pas très solide et un peu bancale mais c'est vraiment minime.

We love MatCha! We live in the area and Matcha is one of our favorite local restaurants in the south Luberon-- delicious food, consistent high quality, and lovely team and service. We love going for the lunch menu or coffee/breakfast with friends and family....
