Le GABZ 5 Star While on holiday staying near La Teste De Buch we have today discovered Le Gabz and had the BEST meal we have had during our stay and will be returning again. The food is all fresh daily and using only local suppliers (butcher, bakery). The double cooked chips are in a class of their own something we have only ever known of in the UK. I had the chicken which is coated in their home made batter its a family secret recipe. The food is quality and very reasonably priced. The owner is a very young man who is the Chef and his lovely Father is front of house who made us very welcome and provided us a menu in English. After a long day at Dune du Pilat we were looking for something to eat and found Le Gabz on a Google search of nearby restaurants.

On entering the restaurant we were warmly welcomed by the owner's dad and offered English menus (we're on holiday from London). He was very helpful in explaining the menu and answering any questions we had. Although not a huge menu, there was plenty for us, and our children (aged 7 & 11) to choose from. We ordered: le tchanque, salad caesar, la double (steak & chicken) and 6 chicken tenders with fries.

Our food arrived promptly and the portions were generous. All meals were freshly cooked and delicious. Although we were the only customers dining inside (probably because it was before 7pm), there were customers collecting take away orders. Everything was extremely great!! Let's start from the amazing customer service, the nice little place, and last but not least the quality and freshness of the products.

I'm from Costa Rica, and I was looking for a really good Burger, and luckily I found this place!

My 3 year old baby had as well his Burger, and it was the first time he actually finish an entre Burger :D he just loved it!
