We spent a week in Lourdes recently and very much enjoyed a dinner at O Piment Rouge. This is a Basque style restaurant situated along Rue de la Grotte. The interior is nicely decorated, there is a fair amount of seating and table spacing is good. I'd recommend making reservations as they were full up on the evening that we dined there.
On the occasion, we ordered the Duck Confit (leg) as well as the Duck Breast both served with fries. The confit had crispy skin, succulent and flavourful meat. My husband chose the pear crumble that was served warm. We had a bottle of the house red wine which was good The staff was friendly and quick, though we were...
