Wish I didn’t have to give this place a 1* I was so excited to try this place but when we entered, the place was empty with 1 or 2 tables occupied and the owner made us sit right next to the door, even though I said I was very cold. Then when it came to ordering we wanted to order a few items to share and we were told we couldn’t do that and had to order a dish each. I had seen the portion sizes and asked if we could order to share as it was too much for one person to finish. Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to try anything out, all I got was the gentleman being quite rude and arrogant but the lady who was taking our order was extremely sweet and very apologetic.
To your reply, I wish I could’ve tried your food, as we really were looking for a Turkish place to eat. Usually when we’ve been to Turkish restaurants especially even in parts of turkey, they never have a problem with a falafel wrap or a kebab wrap. If you have such a strict policy, maybe write it on the menu or page so people are able to read it before coming in. I have been coming to Lourdes for years and have never had a problem ordering mixed dishes and sharing the food. Read moreDry meat. Expensive dishes for the bad quality, should have paid at least half. Salad was good. 3 euros for a small bottle of water, come on… The owner was very suffocating, on top of you, watched me eat and laughing, telling me to slow down, commenting every move, made us very uncomfortable. One of my worst food experiences around the world.
Response to response: I asked for MEDIUM cooked meat, not overcooked. There was only one other single client at the establishment. And no, I was not drunk, just had a beer before I sat down at your restaurant, excuse me, buy lying isn’t going to make your restaurant better. Accept critique and treating your customers more respectfully, and excuse yourself for making people feel uncomfortable. Actually, you are being quite unprofessional and showing...
Read moreWe gave this place a chance for the good reviews but it was a kebab with another name. Same high prices than other Lourdes “brasseries” what doesn’t mean a place where they cook on “braise” but means brewery. He needs fresher meat. Beef wasn’t chewable. Chicken ok. Goat chop was good. Other no identified meat was dry. The guy harassed my buddy before she could make an opinion of the point of her beef. Bad experience. Spanish music didn’t help, but we appreciate the...
