Pizzeria Le basilic’s hospitality and food was great! The server Nael was friendly in speaking to us in English and having an English menu. My parents and I went around 1:00PM on a Sunday, when most places were closed for lunch time. We were fortunate to have not just food, but an enjoyable experience. The chef pizza maker was also attentive too, and the café barista as well. Nael the server definitely ensured he understood our requests, which considerate even though we were English-speaking tourists. Thank you Pizzera le basilic for the wonderful lunch experience!

My parents and I had 2 pizzas and the ingredients were fresh, and pizza dough was soft. Delicious!

We thoroughly enjoyed two of the most creatively topped pizzas we've ever eaten, served on absolutely beautiful crust. The "pomme d'amour" is a regular on the menu, and is a great pizza with a slightly sweet touch. The "café crème" was the special of the day, and was a fantastic surprise! A coffee-infused parmesan cream base? Glazed asparagus? Smoked Scamorza cheese? Thin, crisped, bresaola slices? Creamy asparagus foam?? What an amazing combination!

Top this all with kind, friendly service and a stellar selection of local beers (a small selection, but you don't need many when they're great) -- Without a doubt, we will be back the next time we visit Lourdes.
