As a solo female traveller, I was delighted to have chosen to stay in this charming small auberge. The owners were so helpful - when I checked in they welcomed me||so warmly at their lovely restaurant which is in the heart of Eygalieres. The auberge is a very short drive or 5 minute walk from the village and the owners wife led me there and helped me with my luggage. The setting is perfect, a beautiful swimming pool area is central to the rooms and it is surrounded by relaxing chairs and sunbeds. The room was quite small but perfectly proportioned and has a large covered private seating area outside with a table, chairs and sofa. The large double bed was extremely comfortable faces the pool. The colour scheme is very contemporary and the styling up to date in great taste. The weather was beautiful and even though it was still early May I spent a couple of hours in the sun relaxing by the pool - which isn't far off being warm enough for a refreshing swim. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay at the Auberge, the owners were always available to help in any way if needed. I wish them a lovely...

We booked this place as we have loved visiting Provence in the summer for some relaxation and rest. We had actually been in this town for dinner last summer. The restaurant was great...the owner of the restaurant and this hotel were the same. So, we booked the hotel on a hotel site and received confirmation immediately from the owner via email asking for a deposit of half the cost which we paid. The reservation was made to accommodate 3 adults. Upon arrival, we were told by the owner that the room would not accommodate 3 adults which was not true. They said they would "help us" and let us stay with an additional cost of 200 euro...we did not have much of a choice at this point. Although the grounds were nice and the room accommodated our needs...the service was awful...no extra towels, the daily cleaning of the room was so-so...and, the owners were not welcoming...it appear that they were interested in "certain clientele" only. For the price and the lack of service, the place is not...

Bistro L’ Aubergine is a tourist trap — all show, no substance. The atmosphere is beautiful, as are the presentations on the plates, but the food itself doesn’t come close to living up to the presentations or the prices. You’ll find parade of wealthy tourists arriving nightly with reservations made by their hotels (perhaps the hotel staff is on the take). It’s an easy recommendation: the setting is beautiful, the drinks are showy, and much attention is paid to the beauty of the presentations on your plate. Alas, if only the food itself lived up to the atmosphere, the presentations, or the prices. Take the salade César, for example. It’s an incredible presentation. If only it weren’t made with iceberg lettuce and chicken fingers. I’d expect more of a U.S. bargain chain restaurant. It was gross. There are much better dining options within a free blocks of this restaurant, not to mention nearby Saint-Remy and even Orgon.

Stunning outdoor dining restaurant. Food quality was amazing, very fresh ingredients. My partner had the truffle flat bread and the tuna steak for the main. Both of which were sensational. The staff were very helpful as the menu was in French. Food was reasonably priced, around £15-20 for starter and £20-30 for main course. Only issue was that there is only one toilet in the restaurant. But as the restaurant is small it’s not too much of an issue. Definitely would recommend visiting.

2023 Another visit to this restaurant and another great meal and the staff could not have been more accommodating. 2021 This was one of the best dinners we had during our 3 weeks in France. The staff is courteous and accommodating to English speakers. The meals prepared by the chef were original and delicious. Eygalières is a beautiful Provencal town and this restaurant is the gem.
