The place is lovely, has nice atmosphere with pleasant background music. The food was excellent. As already described in numerous reviews here, they offer all dishes in three different sizes which I find outstandingly smart.
I would also like to highlight how nice , friendly, welcoming and professional their staff is. As we came by early November on a weekday for lunch with our two kids - without reservation- the place was packed. Yet, despite the stress the two waiters (of which one was the bartender), they never gave you the feeling of being forgotten, they always had a nice word for you and all felt just so natural.
Also, we truly appreciate their flexibility of simply serving a portion of mashed potatoes for our 10m old daughter. In other restaurants that was not always possible.
Besides, it’s the small gestures which count, too and make you feel welcome in a venue like this: Without asking for it, while every table was taken, the lady offered two cushions for the chair of our 4 your old son so he could sit a bit higher at the table. For me, that was the cherry on the top.

I ordered the bone marrow, salad chèvre and gigot (lamb). All of the food was excellent. The service was particularly good. All of the employees spoke English and did their best to make the meal special. The ambiance was elegant, but cozy. There was nothing pretentious about the restaurant, and the prices were very reasonable. If I’m ever in Tarascon again, I will definitely come back. By the way, it is recommended to get reservations. Right away, the waiter kindly explained the concept that: there are three portion sizes, and recommended I order dessert later, after I decided whether I wanted it or not☺️. Also, before I placed my order, he brought me complimentary bread with tapenade – an olive paste.
The idea is 10/10, the food is incredibly delicious, and the portions are huge. I’d love to visit this...
