Punjab Restaurant — Restaurant in Avignon

After spending almost 500 Kms behind the wheel I and my family wanted Daal/Lentils and I reached out to this person. It was 8:50 PM at that time, the owner said it’s going to be late and might take 35-40 mins, I said okay I will wait.

At 9:20 PM, my wife and I reached the place and I was told in 2-3 mins it will be ready. Then I waited more and asked him at 9:27 PM if it’s ready now and then he says the following:

“It’s not ready yet, you’ll have to wait more.”

I was like how many more minutes? And he was just avoiding eye contact and said he has no idea and sorry.

He could have told me this right away and instead of wasting my time here I could have tried other restaurants.

Awful service and awful person. Please don’t waste your hard earned money on...

We were looking for food that reminded us of home and found this gem in Avignon. The food was delicious and comforting, just what we needed. Ahmed was so polite and courteous—he took the time to talk with us and understand exactly what we wanted. I asked him to make the food just like home, and he did.
