What an amazing place! We went there for lunch on a very hot day. The welcome was promising. To cool us down, a fan was started with a mist of water, which was very refreshing. The aperitif was excellent and made with the herb Agastache. In an instant the whole restaurant was filled, 26 people. The service remained calm, (only the couple worked at the restaurant! ), and the starters came pretty quick. Wonderful decorated and the taste superb. We ordered vegetarian and meat for the main dish and every plate was like art for the eyes and an explosion for the taste buds. I love food and, due to my age, have had many good meals. But here was the best combination of environment, friendliness, professional service and heartfelt compassion for cooking. But it’s the food that truly astonishes. Every dish is a celebration of the season, sourced entirely from local producers with ingredients so fresh you can taste the sunshine in the tomatoes. Each plate is a work of art, beautifully plated, thoughtfully composed and packed with vibrant, balanced flavors. It’s clear the chef cooks with both heart and discipline.

What a truly wonderful experience. The food was incredible and it was clear that a great deal of thought and attention had been put into each dish, from the perfect balance of ingredients and flavours through to the exceptional presentation.

The restaurant itself is also delightful, again with thought and care put into every detail of the table setting (I’ve taken some style tips for my own dining set up at home). Our host was very attentive, given great explanations for the dishes and the wine. She also kept checking in to make sure our parasol and fan was keeping the mid day heat at bay.
