Beef Pub — Restaurant in Avignon

We were 6 people, 4 adults and 2 boys (6 & 7 years old), our server Terii, was so kind, efficient and friendly. He took the boys order for food first and our drinks. Really solid American- style starters (mozzarella sticks & Jalapeño poppers) plus Gringos Chicken (basically chicken tenders) for the kids. Then a nice melange of steak or more French dishes for main (bavette excellent, I had Salade de chèvre, which way delicious), bottle of Gala Rosé, and a table by the river where the boys enjoyed looking at the ducks :)

As we don't drink beer, I can't say anything on this side of the business, but some improvements can be done on the food side.

My Argentine steak was overcooked with respect to my demand and I'm not fully sure it was from Southern America. On the opposite side, my wife appreciated after a long while her pork ribs. The Italian salad was quite big and had a good burrata. Our nibbles were good too.

Price wise, I think something doesn't add up. 91 euros for a steak, a pork ribs, a salad, two starters and two cocktails is definitely 15 euro over the...

Too expensive for what it actually serves. The beer was awful.. I’m a beer lover and it was extremely disappointing to drink something like that. The staff was great and they returned with a second beer (also awful) after my complaint, I felt they did their best. The food was not good either and the portion was too small for the price.
