Great experience. We arrived at dinner to be greeted with amazing service. Our waitress was amazing to allow me to practice my French and help me along. The food was spectacular. The mussels are a must try! The veggie dinner option was like a veggie burger/steak. My husband enjoyed it tremendously. I had the salmon and it was by far the best I’ve had in years as we travel. It was fresh and well flavored. The apple dessert and rice pudding were the perfect end to an amazing culinary experience. Would visit mont Saint michel again just for this place. Thank you!

A refaire, on recommande !

I want to start this by saying that I live locally and I’ve had many a seafood platter over the years but this was by far the most beautiful seafood platter ever, it was perfection. The dessert was good too. The waiters were also very nice to us, but we speak French. I noticed the non French speaking clients didn’t have it as easy as we did so If you don’t speak French it might be a challenge, so be patient and be nice! The photo attached is a platter for 3!

Very very poor quality ingredients, poorly cooked, but presented in a superfancy way... extremely confusing and disappointing. Service was slow, sloppy and unprofessional. I can assure you they are only in business because of the old American and British tourist visiting Mt St Michel. 2 starts because of the nice view... but that's it.

Food: Fancy presentation, but nothing makes sense... Fish stew with super-low (not fresh) ingredients... with creme fraiche, Edamame and cold (not on purpose) black pasta. Fish was a couple days old, overcooked and dry, and the mussels... beyond dry/old. I admit it, I am fat and I eat a lot. I have almost never NOT finished my plate, but I couldn't finish my dish... it just wasn't edible.

Service: Surreal to say the least... waiters were 17-19 yos... sloppy, smelly, poorly dressed and they insisted they needed to take our dessert order from the beginning! Totally insane... I had to cancel our dessert after the horrendous main.

Price: 23-27 for a main that no human could ever eat. Clearly targeting the elderly (American) tourists who are too nice to complain.

Overall: stay away. The whole Mount St Michel are is a tourist trap, go see the thing, but do not expect fine dining... even for kids it's questionable. To contextualise... serve this anywhere else in France and a riot breaks out... nobody would pay the...

The service was something that we took note of because it wasn’t accommodating. When we arrived, they didn’t great us, they referred us to the manager who took a while to come over to us, so we waited around wondering what to do.

We were seated, in the back of the restaurant, which didn’t have a view of the Mont Saint Michele. We didn’t have a reservation, so we understood, but we asked to be seated a couple rows back in a table that was empty and were politely told no. The table stayed open the entire time we were there, so that was disappointing.

We did receive a free apéro, glass of sparkling wine and syrup, which was nice. Also we received a free bite of calamars and cream, which had a very fishy taste, but it was a nice effort. Also they served pickled vegetables to have as a small bite on the side, which did not look appetizing and looked like they were from a jar.

Although some of the staff that served us was kind, they seemed inexperienced.

We had the moules frites. The moules were good, but the fries were not fully cooked and soggy.

The decoration of the place was quite cheap and was not nice, so it created an odd ambience and looked like a place that was setup quickly to...

Unfortunately my boyfriend and me had an unpleasant stay at this restaurant. We ask if it would be ok to order only beverages and fries since we just wanted a little snack and they offer fries as one of the side dishes on their menu. The service staff didn‘t seem delighted but said it is fine but that we have to wait 30 minutes until the kitchen reopens. We got our drinks and waited 30 minutes until we recognized that the service staff started to hand out the menu to all other customers except us. Then we waited a little bit longer and all the service staff ignored us and avoided eye contact with us. We have absolutely no idea what the problem was, if it was that we planned to order only fries and beverages for dinner or if it was that we are foreign tourists. Either way such a service is absolutely unacceptable! As we decided to pay and leave the restaurant since we felt very uncomfortable, it was kind of an act to pay since the service staff can‘t speak any English, which is also very nonprofessional at a famous...
