With a very disappointing experience at the restaurant at the other side of the road, we went to restaurant Le Pré Salé for dessert. Because it was already later we were referred to the bar where we were helped by Ramon. He provided super fast service and was friendly. Our dessert was brought quickly and tasted very good. When the drink was empty, we only had to wave and Ramon was immediately with us. Very fast service, although I must say that it was not super busy, but he was also working alone in the bar part. I can't judge the rest of the menu, but definitely recommended for dessert in this small town where there are definitely eating places that use the lack of restaurant in their benefit. Overall, a very good experience and very friendly service. We even got a local beer glass home from Ramon, because we asked about it (there was a crack in it, he said.. probably to...

We were stopping in the campsite for 2 nights and it is our 2nd visit to the area. This Restaurant is by far the best on the site area. Food is excellent- tried Rib Eye/Sea Bass/Duck and Lamb over the 2 nights. The sweets were to die for, Crème Brûlée and Pavlova definitely recommended. However the icing on the cake were the Irish Coffees made by Vincent the Barman. Seriously one of the best we have ever had, and made correctly with fresh cream and layered as they should be, a rarity in today’s world of convenience squidgy’s. The Staff were all great to be fair and worked as a team and to say how many covers there were, all service was excellent. If you want to eat early (@7pm), then book as there was no availability as a walk in until...

Le Pré Salé was the worst meal I’ve had in Europe, and we’ve dined in over 30 restaurants across four cities on this trip. I had the red mullet, and I couldn’t even eat it—the smell was awful. My husband, who is a saint, gave me his chicken, but even that was bland and unremarkable. My child had the lamb and didn’t enjoy it either—and he’s usually not picky at all.

We had an 8:45 PM reservation but weren’t seated until 9:15, and our food didn’t arrive until 10:00 PM. The service was slow and the food just didn’t live up to the hype or reviews we read beforehand.

I really don’t understand the good ratings. I wouldn’t return, and unfortunately, I can’t...

Absolutely gorgeous meal tonight, I had the lamb and a potato stack with vegetable purée. My partner had duck with honey and soya sauce and thoroughly enjoyed. I have a nut and sesame allergy, and am intolerant to gluten and soya and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about my allergies, and even provided gorgeous glen free bread which is a rarity. We speak minimal French but luckily the staff spoke fantastic English. Wonderful wine and cider and friendly service. Walking distance from our motor home camping site. The toilets were very clean also! Cannot fault them, we really enjoyed our night.
