I think this place is all about luck. The first time we went (first week of June 2025) I ordered a beef rib and it was overpriced but good. The second time, a few days later, they had run out of beef rib, so I got a beef steak. They served me a rotten piece of meat!! I didn't realise before I took the first bite and spat it out. The meat had expired, it tasted disgusting and smelled even worse. Totally ruined my evening and the staff didn't even offer an apology, less a discount or waiver on the bill! Atrocious standards if a kitchen of skilled chefs cannot tell between good and putrified decayed meat before cooking it and serving it! I spent the following two days expecting the worst. I changed my order to risotto, which was tiny in portion size, and ate it begrudgingly, not really trusting anything that came out of their kitchen. We came in for a late evening meal after flying into town. Service even at that hour was quick and generally friendly with food coming within 15 mins of our ordering, and portions large and dishes tasty. I was surprised they still served at 10pm but the village eats and parties late hence this was normal. The food was well made and of a good standard – fresh salads and seafood. We also had several nice wines by the glass and enjoyed an easy and enjoyable late meal together.

This late at night they did run out of oysters which was a bit sad so arrive earlier if you want to munch on specific items or call ahead. They also suggested reservations during the busy evenings.

Had dinner oo 8th July with a group of friends ,and unfortunately we were all disappointed with the quality and presentation of food.We ordered the food and it took just 10minutes to bring the food on our table. We found hair on our food ,the food was cold and not cooked to our specification.It was most horrible food we ever had in Cap d'Agde .We returned the one with hair and replaced in 5 minutes. How's that possible? Is it precooked. The meat was cooked outside and totally raw inside. We paid and just left without eating with no apologies from the waiters.
