Pizzéria La Crémade — Restaurant in Béziers

I did not know the hospitality industry was doing so well it could ignore potential customers. We called for a glass of wine and a beer, we wanted to look around the little village as we were only staying for one evening. The service was initally lovely, we enjoyed our drinks, paid and left to take the dog for a walk, as we walked my hubby said the pizzas looked great there, so we decided to go back to eat there. We were just totally ignored, very rude. We waited, people came in were seated and served so after 3 groups of people arriving who were attended to before us we left. As we were due to pick up the boat the next day we went in search of a restaurant in Villneuve les Béziers after checking in at Les Anges Gardiens. Not having booked, that was not an easy feat. We finally settled - a bit disapointed mind you - for a Pizzeria on the side of the canal, just downstream from the bridge and locks. Good honest food. Nothing to die and go to heaven about but very enjoyable. Now noone will believe that the Pizzas came two (2) minutes after ordering and the steak and seches two minutes after that. We went on spec, didn’t book so were unable to sit outside but inside was pleasant and quiet. We asked about vegan options and were advised to take the quatre saisons pizza without the cheese. (This was the only vegan option). I asked if I could swap the cheese for mushrooms and was told that adding mushrooms would incur a 1,50€ surcharge with no equivalent reduction for removing the cheese - disappointed but not unusual.
