CARIBEAN FOOD — Restaurant in Basse-Terre

We have eaten at many food trucks on Guadeloupe and this one was the worst experience. We are used to waiting awhile for a bokit but there is something wrong with the service here. There were 6 people ahead of our order. It took a just about 1 hour to get our two bokits. It would have been appreciated if the owners would tell you, before you order, how long the anticipated wait will be. But once you are 30 minutes in you don't want to leave because you think surely the food must be coming soon, but no. Also, although we did arrive late in the afternoon, a lot of the items on the menu were not available. I ordered the cod bokit and a few hours after eating got somewhat bowel sick. That was a first from eating...

It was ok but the woman is a little bit antipathic, a genuine smile and warm welcome is missing. Also one of my ingredient was not cooked enough for me. The taste of bread was good, the bread is not too greasy but maybe a little bit too chewy. If you can be served quickly it's ok otherwise don't wait a long time specially for it. I personnally didn't wait as I didn't order it during the rush hour.

Nous avons pris 2 bokits complet, poulet pour ma part à la creoline douce et mon conjoint au ketchup mayo, une tuerie ! Sans oublier en désert un bokit au nutella vraiment délicieux ! Produits frais, locaux et vraiment succulents et copieux ! C’est vraiment le meilleur de tout ceux que nous avons mangé ! Ambiance au top 👌 Gérante adorable, souriante et nous as conseillé sur les choses à faire dans le coin ! En plus d’être rapide elle est très sympa ! C’est dommage qu’elle partait en vacances le lendemain car sinon nous serions revenus souvent durant notre séjour ! Si vous venez un jours à vers Deshaies c’est un incontournable à ne pas manquer ! Vraiment je recommande ce petit Food truck qui mérite largement...
