This is my third year here and the food never disappoints. The staff and friendly and the cuisine is an eclectic mix of Caribbean, French with the odd international twist and they have now started catering for vegans. Their signature dish is “poulet boucane” which is a mouth watering cane smoked half chicken served with whatever local specialities were fresh from the market that day. The decor has come along way since I first visited, and the latest addition is a new palm roof which really adds to the tropical bar vibe. Try their delicious “planteur” cocktail with some Accras while you wait for your food, or make yourself a ti’ punch from the impressive selection of rums available. One of the chefs is Breton and has introduced delicious savory pancakes inspired by local dishes.
