Nightmare! It's an all inclusive buffet apparently. We said we didn't want much and we're told we could have one buffet for two. Buffet, apparently, included a starter, which we didn't have, a main meal...as much as you could eat, a pudding, and a drink. We had 2 small main meals, mostly rice, 2 puddings and 3 drinks, one of which was water. We expected to pay for one buffet, €25, plus 2 drinks and one pudding. The meals were dried out so not that appetising. The bill we were presented with was for €85! As soon as we started to dispute it she turned in to a monster! So nasty. Then she 'phoned' the police (!) .... in the end we paid €70, really not sure why we paid so much, and then we left. Complete scam. There wss no buffet and everything was itemised. Such a shame as everwhere else in Deshaies was wonderful...

3 course buffet menu at 25 euros, and it felt a little expensive for that. Quite a plain starter (green beans, corn, red cabbage and some sort of deep fried fish ball I think), mains was from the buffet - which you get to pick from what they have available. There was fish, chicken, ribs and rice in a couple different ways. Fish was very dry, ribs were bones with zero meat. Rice was nice. Dessert was ice cream or sorbet - which was nice. For a Saturday night, we were the only customers for quite a while. Music from a 'DJ' which was a laptop auto-mixing (badly) between tracks. I'd avoid, to be honest, as every other restaurant we walked past on the way back to the car looked and...

Fantastic late lunch at La Croisière! We loved the slivered vegetable saute, accras and boudin starters and the hearty pork ragoût with rice & beans, cauliflower gratin, and shrimp dumplings. Portions are generous and everything tastes homemade.

It’s like a prix-fixe menu with dessert (we were too full for the ananas flambé). Just note: swapping the included rum punch for another drink is charged extra, and coffee isn’t included.
