By far, the best meal we ate while in all of Guadeloupe. From start to finish, our tastebuds were rewarded. We started with Rillettes de poissons caraïbes maison à la moutarde à l'ancienne and Emincé de chatrou, huile d'olive, ail et persil. I took the waiter's recommendation and ordered the Tataki de thazard,émulsion au wasabi, which was cooked to perfection, slightly tartare, and the wasabi was like mousse. Best Restaurant in Deshaies. In four nights spent in Deshaies we eat here twice!.

The food is very good, the service is wonderful, the location is magical and just creates a wonderful dining experience.

The chef is a genius and prepares meals that are elegant, tasty and soooo enjoyable.

The lamb was some of the best I have ever had. The potato gratin was so delicious. The tuna was cooked to perfection and the crayfish was simply divine.

The half litre carafe of house wine (White, Red or Rose) were all good and great value.

This review comes after having other much better experiences in Deshais. From the moment we arrived, the staff felt cold. Once seated, we waited a proper 15min before even being asked for drinks. Upon ordering, questions were not really received well. Zero enthusiasm in providing a cheerful service. Once our main plate was done, we waited additionally for a long time and had to ask multiple times if we could order dessert.
