McDonald's — Restaurant in Bayeux

Worst McDonalds, waited over 25 minutes even though it wasn't busy. There was rubbish on floor out to outside seating, there was chocolate sauce all over floor and no one cleaned it, finally the order arrived and when the girl went back in tl get the drinks when she came out I explained that it was cold. Her response was it wasn't cold and she walked off. I was so taken aback I didn't say anything but when I seen that the burgers did not match the order I went straight In. I asked for I could talk to someone who spoke English and a really nice young man helped me. He replaced the burger and gave fresh chips , I told him how rude the lady was to me and it was really disappointing, we come to France from ireland every year and have never had anyone be so rude. One Star – Absolutely Awful Experience

Visited the McDonald’s in Bayeux and it was hands down one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had. The place was absolutely packed, which you’d think means the staff would be used to handling the rush – but no, it was completely disorganised chaos from start to finish.

We waited 45 minutes for our food – for McDonald’s! And when it finally arrived, it was stone cold. After such a ridiculous wait, you’d at least expect hot food, but it felt like it had been sitting on the side for ages. The staff looked like they had no idea what was going on – zero communication, no urgency, and no apology for the wait.

This is not fast food by any stretch, and clearly no one is managing the place properly. Avoid if you’re hungry or in a hurry – or just...

Despite the seeming absence of my beloved Big Mac - an international staple that seems to be absent in McDonald's establishments in France - I must say this McDonald's exceeded my expectations. Prompt table service, young, agile workforce, spotless lavatories, industry-competitive food, all complimented by a commendable and picturesque location near the historic city of Bayeaux. In the vicinity, amenities abound: including EV charging. The negative reviews this establishment has received prior represents a problem with digital age society - contrarians exist for the sake of being contrary.
