Hop’s Pizza — Restaurant in Bayeux

We were here last week visiting from America. We were looking for something to eat and this area gets quiet at night and not much is open. We found thos place and we're so glad we did. The pizza is fantastic and made with love. I forgot his name (I know it starts with an S) he told us all about his process of making the dough and all the ingredients he uses (which are top quality) He really cares about his product and its quality. He was also such a kind and friendly guy. Had a great conversation with him. One of the people from our trip we'll never forget. There is also a vending machine for after hrs that uses the same pizzas he makes so its not some frozen garbage but good quality stuff. You wont be disappointed. Also, here in the USA I normally get a stomach ach from lots of our pizza. Not with this pizza. Felt great after eating it. Next time I'm in the area I'll be going back. Been craving it ever since . Owner was there and very helpful. Note that this place is just a kiosk/vending (for now). They were out of a lot of pizzas at the time but he said they were refilling the machine. You can choose to have it cooked or cook at home, but since it’s a machine you have to order the premade options. Comes with knife to cut it but since owner was there he offered to cut for us. Pizza is about sized for 1 hungry person or in our case perfect for my wife and I to eat one.

He also mentioned they will have a walk up window soon (was in process of constructing it) that they’ll sell desserts and drinks (which will be great since all nearby shops to get drinks were closed when...

Walked past on our way back to our hotel from dinner and had a conversation with the guy there about their pizza vending machine. Said we’d go back for dinner the following night as we had plans to utilise the laundromat next door. Went to order about 10 minutes before the laundry was done. The staff were different from the day before, however their colleague from the night before had left a note that ‘two Australians said they’d come back today’. Extremely friendly and helpful staff all around, that made sure we had everything we needed. They even popped next door to the laundromat to let us know that pizza was ready.
