Absolutely horrendous food, but our waiter, I think his name was âAntonyâ was very nice.
We arrive at 650pm, door closed, when tried to open told they donât open until 7pmâŠ.
Even though the door sign AND online both say 6 đ€
The ordering process was all good, we were delivered 2 bowls of simple salad and some bread, both inedible. The bread I could have broken a window with and the salad had a tang to it I canât explain, I couldnât eat itâŠ. And I can eat anything! Which came in handy shortly afterâŠ.
My husbands steak came with fries, it wasnât the rare he asked for, but thankfully wasnât a million miles off, with a sad half bowl of friesâŠ..
Then my Mac and cheese with crispy chicken was delivered and I got the shock of my life đź
Iâve included a picture if you donât believe me. The pasta was cooked and then dried out and half inedible. I could have put the cheap squirty cheese sauce in my eye and not known it was there.
The chickenâŠ. I said sorry to it and asked for the chefs forgiveness.
The bowl the food was in was cold, but the white serving plate underneath was hot, on one side only. The food itself, tepid.
Iâve never seen anything like it in my life and I eat out a lot.
I hate hate hate to waste food, I literally canât, so I ate as much as I could face.
We told Antony and he was very apologetic, apparently there had been an issue with the kitchen earlier in the dayâŠ.
But for an âAmericanâ joint, in such a tourist town - itâs an embarrassment. And now reading the reviews, we see it wasnât a one off!
Lesson learned - read reviews first people!!

He had gone with his family when they were kids soooooo many times, he just kept on and on about it to me so when we seen one right by the hotel I had to go and see what all the drama was about!? Ensuite, la serveuse nous demande si elle peut lancer les desserts. Nous lui disons que oui car nous avons de la route Ă faire. Nous notons pour nous mĂȘmes quâelle aurait pu dĂ©barrasser les assiettes mais bon elle le fera peut-ĂȘtre plus tard. Longue attente, il est 14h10, la musique est complĂštement coupĂ©e tout Ă coup. On voit 3 membres du personnel en train de discuter au bar alors que notre table nâest pas dĂ©barrassĂ©e de nos plat. 14h20: enfin les desserts arrivent alors que nous avons encore nos assiettes de plat devant nous: nous sommes donc obligĂ©es dâaider la serveuse Ă dĂ©barrasser nos assiettes. Mais oĂč sommes nous donc? Je ne souhaite pas accabler notre serveuse, certes inexpĂ©rimentĂ©e mais trĂšs gentille : le restaurant est quasiment vide, le reste du personnel discute gentiment avant la fin du service au lieu de lâaider alors quâelle a lâair dĂ©bordĂ©e. La responsable au bar crie quâil lui manque des saliĂšres dans le restaurant. Câest apparemment la prioritĂ© avant la satisfaction client. Dâailleurs, on nous demandera jamais si le repas sâest bien passĂ©, mĂȘme lors de lâaddition.
