L'alternative — Restaurant in Beauvais

Walked down this street this morning and noticed several bars that open from mid to late afternoon. Started here as Madge fancied a cidre. A very refreshing 0.25l brut for 3.5€. Flat Eric / Monsieur Erique ( or Mr Oizo round here) had a 0 5l La Chouffe Belgium Blonde beer for 7.5€. The bar is in a very old timbered building. Has a good table football. Lovely interior. We decided to enjoy the late afternoon sun after a day of cloud and showers. 5 tables on the pedestrianised street....
