La Pente à Jules — Restaurant in Bonneville

An absolutely horrible place. It was only 2 of us, and we waited to be seated for 15 min, even though there were two free tables.

We then waited for the menues to be brought for another 15 min, so I just proceeded to take them from the bar myself. The prices are very high, and as we weren’t really hungry, we decided to order an entrecôte and share it. The waitress, who finally appeared at the table told us “two people - two plates”, but then accepted the order. We then also had to wait for coffee and the bill for approximately 15 minutes.

This is quite possibly my favourite ever ski slope restaurant and bar. The food is absolutely excellent, particularly the daily specials. Great sun trap in a deckchair at the end of the day watching people slide down the bottom of “Jade” ⛷️☀️ Their local (Brasserie du Giffre) New England IPA is the best I’ve had on the mountains by a mile🍺 and staff are wonderful no matter how busy...

I spent 1 week in Switzerland before coming here. Not 1 time in Switzerland were any waiting staff rude or rubbish. At this place the waiting staff are rude and terrible. Imagine how much money customers spent to go skiing + coffee or food whatever. Then they have rude ignorant staff serving them. Only go here if you have nowhere...
