If you are in Aups on Saturday morning you must go to the lovely market right outside the hotel. So convenient to get some delicious cheeses, sausage, olives, fresh fruits and vegetables to try from the market. We also walked around the charming medieval town which is not crowded and the people are so friendly. For shopping, the summer clothes selection at Toucan Creations next to the Fromentine et Sarrazin creperie are lovely, the owner Valerie speaks fluent English. We enjoyed our dinner at the L Alguiere round the corner of the shop. ||At the hotel, we were welcomed during check in by Cindy who was very helpful and friendly. All the staff there are nice. ||The room is simple and clean. The bathroom is outdated. Shower is small. The water for shower is lukewarm. The internet connection didn’t connect for us almost all the time and definitely not from the room. The room faces the restaurant so you can hear the dining activities till the service is over. There is no air-conditioning so you open the window for ventilation. It is cheaper than other hotels so it is a good choice if you wish to be next to the market and walking distance to the restaurants. There is a large parking lot in front of the hotel but you cannot park there on Saturday when the market is operating. Please drop your luggage at the hotel first and then go to find parking beside the children’s playground further away. There is no lift so you need to carry your luggage up the stairs to your room.
