Esprit Sushi — Restaurant in Brignoles

Recently visited this sushi spot with family and our dog. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

First, let’s talk about the ambiance. The terrace is absolutely charming. It has a relaxed, cozy feel with warm lighting, casual seating, and just the right amount of greenery to make it feel like a tucked-away corner of the city. The fact that dogs are welcome on the terrace is a major plus in my book. Our pup was greeted with a smile, and plenty of love from the staff, which instantly gave the place a welcoming vibe.

Speaking of the staff, top marks there. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, attentive without being pushy, and genuinely seemed to care about the customer experience.

Now, the sushi itself… this is where things become a bit more average. It’s not bad, but it’s certainly not the kind of sushi you’d rave about to your friends. The fish was fresh enough, the rolls were neatly made, and everything looked good on the plate but the flavor profile just lacked that extra depth or finesse that you’d expect from a top-tier sushi place. If you’re a serious sushi aficionado, this may leave you wanting more. That said, it’s perfectly fine for a casual dinner.

In short: if you’re looking for a laid-back sushi spot with cozy vibes, dog-friendly seating, and fantastic service, this place delivers. Just don’t expect to be blown away by the sushi itself. A...

I'm English but recently living in Le Val so it is my mission to seek out some of the better restaurants in the vicinity. Usually sushi restaurants do not have fresh fish which ruins what should be a delightful meal. I'm happy to say that this is not the case at 'Esprit Sushi', the fish, (tuna, salmon etc) and seafood (scallops prawn etc) is deliciously fresh and tasty the sticky rice which is infused, I believe with lemon, is free with all meals but is also one if my favourites and of course the mayonnaise cabbage. Lots of choices all fesh. Oh and don't be afraid to have a chat with the owner/manager he is very helpful and will tell you what fish, seafood is season and why it is not. With covid being an issue atm it's also great that there is a take out service. I'll be spreading the news about Esprit Sushi... or maybe I should be...

Première esperience, hier soir, le repas était copieux, raffiné avec une belle présentation. L'idée de la vitrine nous permettant d'observer la confection des sushis est plutôt sympathique, sauf... Quand elle se transforme en écran géant laissant apparaître le responsable en grand acteur de vaudeville. Grands gestes, interpellant une petite salariée "viens dehors, faut que je te parle !!!" claquage de porte, explications sur la terrasse, retour en salle, reclaquage de porte, il continue la scène en cuisine, on entend une salariée lui dire "tu ne me parles pas comme ça"!!! Repasse en salle, retourne dehors, sans doute pour remmettre une couche à la première qui séchait ses larmes à l'extérieur. Cette dernière à repris place courageusement, boule dans la gorge, confectionnant ses sushis, sous le poids de nos regards et face à une salle silencieuse et sidérée. Monsieur, vos réactions face aux commentaires négatifs et pour vous avoir vu en action laisse deviner que vous trouverez de bonnes raisons à tout cela en réponse à mon post. RH dans la restauration rapide, les conflits et les désaccords peuvent être fréquents et vous devez savoir qu'ils doivent être gérés dans le calme et de préférence en privé. Votre attitude hier est difficilement défendable, vous avez fait preuve d'abus d'autorité et de total irrespect envers vos salariés et votre clientèle.
