Quirky, charming spot just a minute from the beach. Le Cactus Bleu feels like a vintage French classroom with chairs labeled by name and menus on old-school clipboards. Opens later than nearby spots (till 15:30), which is a big plus. The indoor space opens onto a breezy terrace, almost like one big outdoor room. Friendly staff were very accommodating for our group of 7 and a large twin pram.

Cocktails (mojito and piña colada) were strong and delicious — no watered-down drinks here. Prawn and Miami tacos were standout, the cheeseburger was juicy (eat it fast or it will get soggy quickly!), and the salmon/goat cheese salad was fresh. Fries were salty, which I enjoyed. Great portion sizes overall.

Minor downsides: the smell from the kitchen drifts into the dining area, and smoking is allowed on the terrace — not ideal, especially with kids around. A split smoking/non-smoking setup would be better. Still,...

We were last here two years ago and things seem to have changed. Service was friendly. We ordered our meals and the salads were 99% lettuce with a sprinkling of toppings. Not really worth 13 euros. It seems like cheaper food (bulked up with bread and chips) and higher prices. We waited about 40 minutes to get our plates cleared and dessert menus. We couldn’t get anyone’s attention. In the end we gave up and went up to counter to ask for bill. Service pretty pants, food a bit cheap tasting and overpriced. Left feeling that we probably...

I thought I had ordered a duck burger. Had bread with salad and onions. I asked if they had not put the burger in. Turns out the 8 gram slice of rock hard duck breast hidden under some sauce was my "duck burger". All the other food looked okay but this was very disappointing. I think they must have run out of actual burgers and improvised. Won't return. Worst food I've had in the south of France. There is good parking nearby, go to any of the other bars on the street,...

Loved this place. Beautiful atmosphere inside, the deck area also looked good it was suitably covered for the inclement weather but open when I walked by the previous day. The staff were really friendly and happy to put up with our stilted french and English orders. The service was really prompt despite being busy. All our burgers were delicious. And the crepes for dessert were also superb. Would definitely recommend a visit.
