I traveled to France for the first time and went here for my first meal. I saw a beef tenderloin on their special for the night menu. I was graciously seated without a reservation alone by their bar/ serving area. I ordered the tenderloin. and a starter of foie gras which was served and was very good. The tenderloin was served. I started at the tip. Which was not very tender. As I got to the thicker part, it was tough to cut and chew as well. Very poor cut. I explained to the waitress what was going on. No response. She did understand as I used google translate to clarify my thoughts. Then I ordered dessert. A sorbet, melted. Very disappointed. Serve better beef. Don't let a melted dessert be served.
