Le jardin — Restaurant in Caen

Went here for a evening meal with my husband whilst staying in Cordey. Did not book but on arrival were greeted by very friendly staff who spoke English (Thank god because our French is awful!) showed us to a table with no hesitation and provided us with an English menu which one member of staff herself had translated, and very well may I add. The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced, we had the season menu priced at €24.50 for 3 courses. Also had a bottle of 2017 bougelais priced at €24 which was by far the best French wine I have tasted so far. Definitely recommend Le Jardin to anyone...

Last night was our 17th day in France and the meal we had was our best meal on holiday. Wonderful experience surrounded by local people in a calm, friendly atmosphere. The service was excellent with food offering a variety of flavours delicately arranged and beautifully prepared. Can't t speak highly enough of this impressive little restaurant....

Went to Falaise to visit chateau of William the Conqueror, arrived at 1:00 pm so decided to look for somewhere to eat. After looking on Google selected Le Jardin. Pleased with the choice, both food and service were good. As it was a week day lunchtime not overly busy or nosy. Would eat...
