L'AnCasa à Algajola — Restaurant in Calvi

We cannot rave enough about our dinner here. I made reservations as we had a birthday to celebrate. We were a party of 6 including 2 kids. Adults had moule frites and the kids had the classic burger.

The food was truly AMAZING and the Service a cherry on the top. The waitress had conversations with us, even the chef came out to greet us and see how the food was. This place deserves the 5 star rating it has hands down.

Do not overlook this place on your trip to this part of Corsica. It has everything, Corsican charm, a great menu, drinks. If we would stay longer I would come back for one of those burgers 😀…

P.S. it is located very close to the train station there and they have some “Pétanques” courts, so for more entertainment bring some “boules” and play a round...

The food was really great. Service was great and fast. There is a good selection of cocktails and drinks.

The only thing that is even slightly negative is that the salade de chèvre chaud had very few green leaves. You could purchase an extra portion on the side.

Our only recommendation is to add more green leaves to this salad. The Caesar salad was...

Un incontournable à Algajola, année après année !

À chaque passage en Corse, c’est un vrai bonheur de revenir à L’AnCasa. Ce petit coin chaleureux au cœur d’Algajola est bien plus qu’un simple restaurant : c’est un lieu authentique, généreux et profondément humain.

Les planches de fromages et de charcuteries corses sont tout simplement délicieuses, toujours fraîches, bien servies et riches en saveurs locales. Une vraie invitation à la gourmandise, parfaite à toute heure — que ce soit en journée, en apéro ou même tard dans la nuit.

Ce qui rend l’endroit encore plus spécial, c’est l’accueil. La dame qui tient L’AnCasa est d’une gentillesse rare, toujours souriante, arrangeante et bienveillante. Et que dire de la jeune serveuse : adorable, drôle, dynamique, elle ajoute une touche de bonne humeur et de complicité qui fait toute la différence.

On s’y sent tout simplement bien, comme chez des amis. C’est un lieu où l’on revient avec plaisir, année après année, sans jamais être déçu.
