Dinner was superb! Snacks as a substantial amuse bouche. Mussels in a saffron broth, out of the shell. Salmon over a potato cake with edible flowers. Service was impeccable. Wine very reasonable with a great recommendation. Definitely will come again.

Malaucène is dominated by the cycling industry, and its bowls of pasta and French fries. Chez Laurette is in Malaucène but it is miles from that kind of food. Chez Laurette offers refined dining. It's not in the Michelin, not even as a Bib gourmand. But it should be. Is it because it's only open 8 month of the year?

Hard to beat this one in Malaucène. Not our first time, and every time we come back we regret not coming more often. This time, we got enchanted by the (excellent) magret de canard. When șeful was asked for a wine recommendation and brought out a off-menu bottle from 2014 and at very reasonable price, splendor was in the air.

Wanna talk rugby over dessert? Hit up the boss and you'll get your money's worth. Want to eat succulently, hit up his wife in the kitchen.
