Service was excellent and this was a pretty little bistro.

My wife and I both ordered the Falafel dish. This was a serious disappointment, especially for the price. There were only 3 falafels and they were so dry that they literally crumbled into dust when cut apart (they tasted like they were made with chickpea flour and water).

There were also very few zucchinis slices, and the other half of the plate was 2 additional pieces of bread. We already had bread on the table so additional bread with the falafels was really not required. Adding a few more (moist) falafels or extra vegetables would have been greatly appreciated.

The salmon starter was tasty but my wife's cucumber soup was finished in several spoonfuls. Again, a larger portion of soup for the price would have been appreciated (the soup was tasty but the portion size was very small). See the attached picture of the falafel plate - if you remove the two large pieces of bread, you will see that there is very little actual food on the plate for the price paid.

Also, because it was raining, we were placed inside the restaurant near a table of 8 consisting of four babies who cried continuously throughout our meal. The family did apologize to us for the noise, but it was still too loud for our liking when sitting for an expensive meal.

The wine list was excellent and the sommelier was very lovely and very helpful. My wife enjoyed a wonderful bottle of white thanks to her recommendation.

So overall, the wine was terrific but the falafel meals were terrible. Also, portion sizes should definitely be larger for the price.

Thanks again for the very excellent service, but we probably...

We had a lovely dinner at this nice restaurant, and I must say we enjoyed very much the refinement of the dishes , presented in a very attractive plate. Staff friendly and helpful, especially the lady who informed me about some “secrets” from the kitchen. We had fish so we enjoyed a nice grapillon d’or 2019, harmonie, a white vacqueyras. Price at 55€ , for a white wine quite high but ok we are on holiday so let’s enjoy and the wine was ok but perhaps not to the level of this price. When we checked the price where this wine comes from it is available at 15€. 😆I admit the menu was at a reasonable price taking into account the good quality and everyone needs some profit but when you know they can but the wine at a discount rate these practices make me sad and also angry. I have a bitter...

We were recommended to Nez by a friendly peddler of "degustations" at the nearby Domaine de Coyeux. Nez shares a kitchen with a Michelin starred neighbour, and has a wine list more accomplished than pre-scandal Lance Armstrong. The menu, however, is not extensive, but thankfully "take it or leave it" was a very, very easy choice as we made our way through a local-produce tapas board to start, bull-casserole and ultra-fresh salad for mains, and a gooey chocolate fondant for afters. Formule for three courses? A steal at 20 euros.

Not large - parties bigger than two may struggle, but its cozy and...

The entrées (first course) were a beetroot with blue cheese, so fresh, and rabbit ravioli with a baked cheese. Both were creative, well prepared and eaten with excitement. Amazing Beef dish with smoked thyme for two to share and presented beautifully. This may have been the best beef I have eaten in France since our arrival 5 months ago. The curry lamb was said to be delicious. The whitefish was delicate and included perfectly cooked vegetables. The wine choices were extensive. We ate every morsel. $3.50 for a carafe of water was annoying.
