Saw the sign for Pista in town, followed our noses...and turned out to be a great decision! Really good coffee, delicious fruit juice and a menu small enough that you know its all being freshly made (highly recommend the Wout bagel...but eat it after Ventoux, and it won't give you WVA's superpowers unfortunately). Owner really welcoming and helpful. Feels like Pista offers a different approach to cafe and coffee culture than the older-school cafes in town, which is a really good thing for Bedoin I think. Read moreWe had a good lunch at Pista. At one point during our meal, however, we saw a staff member moving my bike. Unfortunately, the bike was moved such that my frame was against the wall, chipping the paint. When I informed the staff member about the incident to prevent future occurrences (and not to seek compensation), they denied any wrongdoing and immediately walked away without as much as giving me a look in the eye. Read moreI visited Pista Cycling Café one week ago after climbing Mont Ventoux. They were almost out of food, but still found a very nice piece of Quiche for me. Their mechanics helped me with some tools that I needed for my bike, and told me about Gorges de la Nesque and Gorges du Verdon. They recommended not going along the coast from Marseille to Nice but instead going through these Gorges, which were fabulous! Almost no traffic, perfect roads and super beautiful! And I even got a free Mont Ventoux cycling...
