Vin Ensèn — Restaurant in Carpentras

DO NOT SKIP THIS RESTAURANT!!! I had the pleasure of dining here with my boyfiend earlier this summer and we had a spectacular dinner. Local provencale style food with an exceptional wine list. I've been living in the region for the past few months, working in a 5 star hotel nearby. I always recommend this restaurant to clients and they always come back absolutely delighted of their experience.

For starter we had octopus and zucchini flowers. The zuchinni flowers were such a unique dish, crispy and creamy as it was plated on top of a burrata. For dinner we had Lamb and fish. The dessert was so delicious, an apricot clafoutis and a chocolate cherry mousse. The menu is not online ass it changes often, which reflects its freshness. Since it's also a cave à vin they have an extraordinary winelist, and you can choose variety of sizes from a glass, to a quarter, or half bottle. The staff is so nice and attentive, they are very dedicated to giving great recomendations for food and wine pairing. If you can get a tabe on the back terasse there is a spectaculer view. We happened upon this fabulous restaurant while visiting Caromb today. The staff was very friendly and seated us right away at the perfect patio table. I had the fish of the day and my husband had the beef. Both dishes were delicious, and we cleaned our plates. Even though we are trying to practice our French, the waiter had a ton of patience, spoke great English, and was very helpful in helping us navigate the menu. After a wonderful hike in Barroux we were desperately looking for a nice beer and lunch. After two disappointments due to fully booked, we accidently ended up here. What a blessing! Wonderful blanche beer, followed by a refreshing gazpacho and a wonderful meal dish with a delicious local red wine. Great start of a relaxing afternoon at our lovely place in crillion de brave.
