Yes, the location is awesome. Right in front of the bay, close to the historical tower and the walking trail that goes around the peninsula. The surroundings are really picturesque. The hotel itself looks like a late 90s-early 2000 wannabe modern spa resort. The desk staff was polite but I cannot say it was a warm welcome. The real downside of this hotel is the wifi in the rooms. It goes on and off and it's slow. The only spot you can get decent down speed is right next to the front desk, so you look like an idiot standing in the middle of the place with your phone. On the plus side, the shower was great (a real play room 😉).

In an area where it seems like all hotels are of similar standard, you cannot expect more than clean rooms, working toilets and a good night's sleep. This place satisfied all that and has a spa too though we did not try that. We went on a day when they had fireworks and that definitely made the trip even more worth it. One night is enough.

We booked two nights in Le Thalassa Hotel & Spa with reasonable price, and found out that our stay there was a great value for money.||||- Great Location : ||Just next to the fine sand beach, town's main sightseeing spots, the port (for boat tours), and the entrance of coastal trail.||||- Room: ||We booked Club room, but seemed to be offered in a pool view room with sunny balcony (loved wooden floor).||A freshly renovated room with comfortable large bed, a modern Italian shower (but with a small step), flat-screen TV, the bathroom amenities and tea/coffee pot.||While the room may not be spacious enough for some (it was OK for us), there is a baggage rack and a closet.||||- Food:||We took breakfast buffets and seafood lunch (and the dessert). Both were just fresh and great.||We loved the seafood risotto.||This hotel/restaurant has "Certified Homemade" mark on the menu.||||Pool:||Enjoyed swimming in good water temperature.||Did not try the jacuzzi nor SPA facilities.||||Thankful to all the staffs, available, friendly, and made our stay...

Friendly, helpful and very hardworking staff are the key to the attraction of this wonderful hotel. The location is outstanding, both in terms of views from rooms at the front and proximity to the many attractions of Camaret.||We found the food to be superb -we ate dinner twice, including a magnificent Fruits de Mer for two, and a lunch. Breakfast can keep you going all day!||The pool and surroundings were clean and very pleasant, although the water was a bit chilly.||The room was comfortable, especially the bed, and very clean.||The only thing to be aware of is that the hotel is having some major construction work. It did not affect us at all, but you may wish to check before you book.||We thought the hotel offered very good value for money, both in comparison to the hotel we stayed in the previous two nights and hotels in UK visited recently.||We did not...

We rarely found such a dirty room in a life-time of traveling. Our family room was not cleaned (or not to minimum standards) with complimentary hair from previous customers everywhere, mainly in bathroom, that we had to live with for 2 day. The 3rd day we complained and hair were removed. Finger print of previous guests everywhere ! We where scared to handle and grap things around the room due to COVID reasons...||On the top of things, the Hotel is very old and tacky and should be seriously renovated.||Otherwise our dinner at the restaurant was quite good in comparison and the service excellent. We cannot say the same for the very poor breakfast buffet presentation, diversity and quality.||I doubt we'll give the place a second chance....
