Le Bistrot de Flandre — Restaurant in Compiègne

We visited Le Bistrot de Flandre tonight with our two kids and due to some circumstances we eventually had to take our food back to the hotel.

Nonetheless I still want to express a big thank you to the wonderful ladies working at this lovely bistrot! The customer service was perfect from the moment we walked in. We ordered the mussels and the steak tartare and it tasted great! The sauce accompanying the mussels was divine (i finished it all!). Our kids had the salmon and it was a very generous portion and very well cooked, they loved it.

If we come back to Compiègne we will definitely visit again! If you are looking for a typical French bistrot with good quality food, don't hesitate to visit this restaurant.

Great atmosphere. Meals were delicious with a nice presentation. Service was good. We asked for one meal to go for my nephew who had to run to his car to attend a meeting. My uncle had to explain why we needed a single meal to go. I thought it was strange that we had to justify why we needed one meal to go. I had too much to eat here because it was delicious

The had a crab with curry starter which is my favourite dish.

I like my steak really well done and they did exactly what I asked for and it was very tasty.

The fricasse was really nice too

Wine served by the glass was good

Waiter had a very dry sense of humour and was really helpful and efficient.
