Situated in the lovely town of Lectoure high on a hill with wonderful views across the Armagnac region of South West France Le bonheur est dans le pré restaurant is a real find. We chose this restaurant due to its close proximity to the Villages des brocantes antique market. A small venue with only seating for around 20 people so booking ahead is advised. The food is simply, clean and tasty with a level of service beyond expectation. Inside and outside seating available and free parking within 150 m. We sat next to a couple who have visited Lectoure for the past ten years have eaten in every restaurant in the town and proudly said this one was their favourite. Meat lovers and vegetarians welcome, in addition there is a very nice display of pastries, cakes and and and. Go for it you will enjoy..

Excellent wine and tapas. Creative variety of food ranging from Asian influenced tuna tataki to hummus. Fresh flavors and excellent wine choices. Friendly and helpful owner (speaks English). Highly recommended.
