Café de Paris — Restaurant in Dieppe

Popped in on a chilly afternoon at the beginning of November (2024).

Service with a smile was prompt and friendly.

We ordered a couple of hot drinks, including a cappuccino and a chocolate plus a sweet crepe and a savoury gallete; cheese, ham and egg with a small green salad.

Drinks were good as was the food.

The waitress also brought a bowl of water for our pooch, something which has been common place on our current trip.

A lot of English bars, cafes and restaurants could learn from this.

Location was beautiful, sat by the harbour in Dieppe enjoying a little time out off the bike. We had a lunch stop half way on our journey to the diggs, we had burgers and a cheeky beer sat with friends. It's a great half way stop on the way to Normandy definitely worth planning in to a route. There is also a ferry from Newhaven that lands in Dieppe, where you would be able to go onwards in to France. This cafe is definitely worth a visit though as you won't be...

July2024: Stopped over for late lunch… Luckily they still served food for us tourists who drove 4 hours to get to Dieppe before jumping on a ferry.

My galette was delicious with a refreshing beer 🍻

Was very glad you were open and serving especially after our skate in Le Mans and car journey.
