I donât think we made the right choice with the food. The dishes we received looked good but the tastes where off. The fregola was dry and tasteless. When I asked for hot sauce, they gave me chili powder instead. The balance of flavors in the other dishes was also offâthe burrata didnât come with enough tomatoes, and when we requested more, our request was declined.
We planned to have lunch on a double bed by the pool, but the towels had an extremely bad odor, which was overwhelming and indicated poor hygiene. Because of this, we only stayed for two hours. Despite that, we were charged 300 euros for the bed, as it could only be rented for the full dayâsomething we were not clearly informed about.
The staff was a mix of friendly and arrogant, and the overall vibe felt off. Unfortunately, this was the lowest point of our holiday, I would not...
Read moreAvoid!!! This place used to be called Bivouac but has changed its name to Chez Max. Party of 8, they got so much with the orders wrong: forgot the water, sauce on the burger, wrong accompaniment, extra dishes brought, some dishes never came, failed to bring what did come out together, try to add hidden charges to the bill. The waitors seem nice, but something wrong in the organizing here, as they had zero coordination between each other, nor with kitchen staff. the music is incredibly loud and irritating (despite everyone seeming annoyed by it). The prices are expensive for the poor quality of the food. A complete disaster.
Sorry, but you can't charge 27 euros for a burger and chips and...
