Les P'tits Galets — Restaurant in Draguignan

My friends and I got stranded just down the street from here after blowing up one of our tires on our rental car. We had to lug all of our baggage to this restaurant to wait for someone who would be willing to take our ride request from here to AIX-EN-PROVENCE which is where we were headed to before our tire blew up.

The people here were so nice and so accommodating! Our server, Christopher, was such a good vibe! He was patient with us taking a ridiculous amount of silly photos and videos (we are on my bachelorette trip!), he even helped us with a few of them & though we took our time ordering and deciding what to eat, mostly because we were just still coming down from the shock of the car accident, he didn’t rush us or get angry with us at all, we all felt very welcome throughout the whole evening by him and his colleagues.

On top of that, the food was DELICIOUS!!! We got the truffle risotto, tuna steak and beef steak and every bite was mouth watering!!! Just writing this review is making me crave a meal here again and I already cannot wait to bring my friends and family back to St. Maxime just to visit Les P’tits Galets 😋😋😋

Oh! And Chris even grabbed us all blankets when it started to get a little chilly without any of us asking for it. He was so sweet 🥰🥰🥰 thank you...

Séduits par la beauté du cadre hier soir au détour d’une promenade, nous sommes revenus déjeuner ce samedi 9 août sur la plage des P’tits Galets. Au moment de nous placer, nous demandons à celui qui semble être le patron s’il est possible de nous installer sur une table plus proche de l’eau. Sans même feindre une rapide vérification dans son livre de réservations, ce monsieur nous envoie paître en nous sortant que ces tables sont réservées depuis des semaines, soi-disant. Sachez, monsieur, que le monde du commerce est un théâtre et qu’en bon vendeur il faut parfois savoir jouer un peu la comédie, surtout lorsque l’on n’est pas en capacité d’accéder à la requête d’un client.

Nous poursuivons notre « expérience client » avec un premier service contrasté : les nems au poulet étaient réussis contrairement au mezze de calamar en provenance directe du congélateur. Avec cela, une première maladresse du service : madame a été servie après nous, ces messieurs. Que resterait-il de son entrée sans les plats qui suivirent et la déception qu’ils entraînèrent ? Un noix de bœuf et un risotto à peine passables, accompagnés d’une quelconque salade César, servie (une fois de plus) en décalé à madame. Suite à ce deuxième service, nous avons mis fin à ce simulacre de restauration sans prendre ni dessert ni café, bien que l’envie ne nous en manquât pas. Le service est globalement assez lamentable, entre familiarités superflues et quand même un certain mépris du client. On remarque tout de même que la plage des P’tits Galets aspire à attirer une clientèle plus huppée, un réel effort est notamment fait pour proposer un cadre agréable et décoré avec goût. Cependant, je ne peux m’empêcher de vous comparer aux plages cannoises, qui pour le même prix proposent non seulement une carte plus fournie et significativement plus qualitative, mais garantissent de surcroît un service à la hauteur.

Par ailleurs, en lisant d’autres avis peu favorables, je constate que la direction de cet établissement reproche aux insatisfaits de ne pas leur partager de vive voix leurs remarques. Nous l’avons fait, et mise à part une excuse de pure forme, personne n’a fait mine de s’intéresser à nos remontrances. Je souhaite ainsi rappeler à l’équipe des P’tits Galets que l’humilité ne se démode pas, et que lorsque l’on ambitionne de servir une clientèle de haut standing, il ne suffit pas d’en porter les apparences : encore faut-il éviter que cela ne ressemble qu’à un joli décor...

I've been there at the end of september 2023 with two friends. There's nothing to say about the food or service. However, we had a very large bill and i was asked to pay. After telling me my card did not work, i was asked to try another so i did. The end of the story, I payed with both cards, so the doubled amount. They shut down in October so I was not able to contact them. My bank could bot help either yet because they were different cards. I do not want to say they might scam you, but since they did not send one amount back, I also cant deny it. Maybe they see this entry an we can fix...
